CLASP Youth Project
New Youth Program for Youths aged 14-18 years. Limited places so be quick and book your place
Clasp Youth Programme was set up in 2006 to enable the young people of the Lough Arrow region to participate in fun, educational projects and activities, which break down the barriers of rural isolation and tackles issues such as poverty. Clasp Youth Programme runs two youth clubs in the CLASP region for 6-16 yr olds with an average weekly attends of 150 in total. The clubs are divided into two age groups (6-9yrs & 10-12yrs) and senior clubs (12-16yrs). Ballinafad Hall and Geevagh resource centre are the two centres were the clubs are held Tuesday and Thursday nights.
We are currently in the planning stages of a youth drop in facility for older youths.
